Dear Cosmopolis School District Community,
The Cosmopolis School District has a school board vacancy. If you are a United States citizen, a qualified voter of the district, a resident of district #2 (see school district map), and wish to be considered for an appointment to the Cosmopolis School Board, pick up an application at Cosmopolis School at 1439 4th Street.
Applications must be returned by Tuesday, January 6th, 2026, by 3 pm. Interviews will be conducted during a special meeting of the board, with the new board member potentially being seated in open session, after an executive session, on January 15th, 2026. All qualified residents are encouraged to apply. If you have any questions, please call (360) 532-7181.
For patrons interested in filling the vacant school board position, please submit a letter of interest that includes a brief biographical sketch, information about training, interests, experience on policy boards, community and/or school activities and availability to attend regularly scheduled meetings, participate in workshops and review study materials.
