Hi, I’m Mr. Smith. My day working with students begins with the Intermediate Band class in the auditorium. Next, I’m in the Kindergarten classroom for their morning lessons. Then, in the afternoon I’m back in the auditorium for first through sixth grade general music classes, and at the end of the school day, I have the Beginning Band class.

 

The picture of me at the upper left above was taken in front of the building that was my elementary school when I was in first, second, third, fourth, fifth, and sixth grade. I started playing saxophone in elementary band in my last years at this school. I’ve had many opportunities to play music in many places since then. I’m happy to be working now with the fine students and staff at Cosmopolis Elementary School.
