March Student Recognition for Perseverance
April Student Recognition for Leadership
Preschoolers aren't exactly sure what to think of Green Eggs and Ham. March 2nd is "Read Across America" or more commonly known as Dr. Seuss Day.
Cosmopolis School held its annual Jump Rope for Heart on Friday, March 26, 2010. This is a very popular event. Teams of students jump in 10 minute intervals to very lively (and loud) music. Students bring donations for the American Heart Association. There are lots of prizes and popsicles for everyone at the end.
The Talent Show was held on Friday, May 7th. Performances were prepared in several categories: instruments, singing, sport and dance. Students from Kindergarten through 6th grade participated. Hosted by 6th grader, McKenzie Brooks, talented young artists performed for a large audience and 3 judges. Prizes were awarded to singers, dancers, jump rope teams, and pianists. Fifth grader, Joa Yun, was awarded Most Talented with her piano solo.
